Spring Summer 2011
Well, what an exciting year it's been already and it's still only spring!
We've attended the esteemed Prima Fashion Awards at the glamorous Sketch restaurant in London where we were delighted to have been shortlisted for best changing bag and we've relocated to our fabulous new, larger office premises, around the corner in Notting Hill in a former brewery!
Personally I've drawn inspiration for my new grey doves and love birds fabrics from my Children's avid fascination with garden birds - we've taken to feeding them seeds on the roof terrace of our new house - yes, we've moved house too! In fact, my new Queensdale tote style proved to be a sturdy and stylish way of carrying a multitude of children's paraphernalia whilst the children filled their Pink Lining Overnight bags with their most treasured possessions to help with the move.
Another new fabric; "Peace blossom", was inspired by childhood memories of sitting with my siblings in the boughs of an old apple tree we had nicknamed "Peace blossom". There we would play for hours, happily ensconced in clouds of apple blossom. Now watching my own children giggling in the flurry of rainbow colours of an emerging summer, new happy childhood memories - theirs - are added to my own.
